Middletown Tractor Sales is locally-owned and will be celebrating 70 years in the business, which makes us the oldest John Deere dealer in West Virginia, and is now expanded to serve Southwestern Pennsylvania. Our staff has well over 100 years of combined experience and all of this knowledge and stability translates into helping you, the customer.  Whether you're a homeowner, farmer, municipality, oil & gas company, or one of the many other industries relying on quality equipment, we pride ourselves on expert diagnosis and quality work, to get you fixed up right the first time.

Our History

Middletown Tractor Sales' history is rich in family, tradition, and service. Much more than a run-of-the-mill John Deere dealership, Middletown Tractor Sales has a longstanding legacy of commitment to the communities we serve which is shown through our 70 years of business.

The legacy of our dealership is much more than bleeding green and yellow, although we most certainly do that, too! We are a business by family, for family; we have roots where other businesses just have branches; and we have made a commitment to our customers that we are here to stay!

It is hard to believe that what is now West Virginia's oldest John Deere dealer started so simply when Dallas Boyers opened a small feed and farm supply store in Mannington, WV in 1952; and the rest, as they say, is history!

Fast forward 70 years and the progression of Middletown Tractor Sales can be seen through every fiber of the business, from our location to leadership, to community involvement. Dallas' son, Jim Boyers served for many years as President and CEO. As the business continues to grow, Jim's son, Adam Boyers, now serves as President. As the third generation of Boyers has taken the reigns of the business, Middletown Tractor Sales has grown to greater heights and achieved major accomplishments.

In May of 2011, Middletown Tractor Sales constructed and moved into the one and only John Deere Place in West Virginia. This facility consists of over 23,000 square feet spread over a full seven acres. Our service area now boasts over 10 service bays, each equipped with computer diagnostics to get customer's equipment up and running right the first time. We also stock a huge parts inventory as well as an awesome indoor showroom highlighting equipment, clothing, toys, and gifts for every member of the family!

In March of 2013, the Boyers reached another huge accomplishment when they expanded to south western Pennsylvania by acquiring two new dealerships, and then expanded again to southern WV in February 2020!  Located in Washington & Uniontown, Pennsylvania, and now Buckhannon, West Virginia, these moves have allowed us to quadruple the honest, trustworthy sales and service our customers have grown accustomed to.

The Boyers' recognize that this growth and success could not have happened without the hard work and dedication of both their employees and customers (you!). Middletown Tractor Sales is an award winning John Deere dealer because we employ knowledgeable, service oriented individuals who promote our customer first attitude through every department in the dealership.
